Seka Inn Hotel occupies a long-standing address on Dukes Ride in the heart of Crowthorne, a village tucked between Bracknell, Sandhurst, and Finchampstead in Berkshire. The building itself carries a genuine piece of local history, its facade features a rare vertical declining sundial, said to have been created by an early Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society. That kind of detail is easy to overlook in a busy village hotel, and it is exactly the sort of character we want to bring back to the front of the guest experience as part of this relaunch. For years, the property has operated as a straightforward hotel with eighteen individually styled rooms, a restaurant, and a bar.
Now, under the Seka Inn name, we are remodelling and repositioning the hotel as a luxury boutique stay, with fine dining and a proper bar at its centre rather than an afterthought. The rooms are being refreshed, the food and drink offer is being rebuilt from the ground up, and the goal throughout is the same: get more out of what this address already has to offer. We are still early in that journey. Some rooms are further along than others, the dining concept is still taking shape, and there is plenty of work ahead. What will not change is the basic promise behind Seka Inn Hotel, a comfortable, well-run stay in Crowthorne, with a genuine welcome for business travellers, contractors, relocating guests, and holidaymakers alike.
